The Juniata County Veterans Council will continue to hold alternate meeting places each third Wednesday of the month in 2015. They will meet at 7:pm of each month alternating between American Legion Post #298 Jan 21, Mar 18, May 20, Jul 15, Sep 16, Nov 18 and the V F W Post #5863 on Feb 18, Apr 15, Jun 17, Aug 19, Oct 21 and Dec 16, 2015. Each post is located on Main street in Mifflintown. You do not have to belong to these organizations to be a member of the Veterans Council. The council is seeking veterans to help with Military funerals, parades and council events. Full uniforms are available for any new member.
