Many Juniata County residents are unaware of the primary function of the Juniata County Veterans Council-Honor Guard. One of the reasons is because the Honor Guard has never recorded a funeral service, for the public to view. Until now. With the passing of Wayne Aldinger (WW II combat veteran) and with the family's approval, a short video record was made at the cemetery site. This video was intended for the family. The Council render the final salute, to which all veterans, who honorably served, are entitled. This video is some of what we do ("because we proudly served our country, we honor those who also served").
